Disclosure: independent pest firms and their state licences
Pest control arranged through Charlotte Pest Control is performed by independent companies serving Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and by separately licensed firms in York County, South Carolina. Charlotte Pest Control maintains a telephone line and a request form. It does not inspect, treat, fumigate or issue reports, and it employs no applicators.
The partner that attends your property is responsible for holding the North Carolina structural pest control licence in the phase the work falls under, for the certification of the people performing the application, for its own insurance, and for its conduct under the rules of the Structural Pest Control and Pesticides Division. Where a property lies in South Carolina, licensing is administered by Clemson University's Department of Pesticide Regulation. Charlotte Pest Control and this website hold no pest control licence and make no claim to one, and nothing here is a statement that any partner's paperwork has been verified by us.
Licence numbers are provided on request, by telephone through this site's line or directly by the technician, before or after a visit, and may be checked through the public credential search maintained by NCDA&CS. Numbers are withheld from this site for the privacy of the businesses involved. Wood-destroying insect reports are issued only by a licensee on the state's prescribed form after an inspection, and are not warranties or structural damage reports.

Prices are estimates

Safety and product labels
Pest control products must be used exactly as their labels direct; the label is the law. Do not mix products, apply restricted-use pesticides yourself or treat areas a label does not allow. Keep children and pets away from treated areas for as long as the technician advises.
Regulations
Structural pest control in North Carolina is regulated by the state pesticide regulator. Rules and product approvals change; information on this Site is a summary, not legal or regulatory advice.
